Things to avoid in a future spouse

吃喝嫖賭

吃 - chi1 - to eat. Gluttonny. Drug abuse.
喝 - he1 - to drink. Refering to alchoholism.
嫖 - piao2 - to visit a prostitue. Whoredoms. Adultery. Infidelity.
賭 - du3 - to bet/gamble.

These are some of the worst things a family can be plagued with. Mom said they probably made the list because they are all addictive.

A faithful member of the Church should be free from all this. Should. I guess that's why the Lord's discernment is so much more trustworthy than our own.
