Yes, yes, I'm still alive.

Sorry for the short drought there, fans. Email has been keeping me busy enough. Work has been picking up too, which is in fact, really nice.

Life has been just the same for me. Quite uneventful, really. The day before yesterday, I decided my 4 months here was going to be exactly like that unless I did something to change it. So I called my mom at work and asked if she wanted to go to the club with me for a swim. Heh. This is the dumb part. While I waited for her to come home, I fell asleep. And by the time she did, I was so sleepy, plus, it wasn't sunny anymore and one of the main reasons I plan to start swimming regularly is so I can get darker. I've lost my Hawaiian tan already. *sob* Mom said it was ok, we didn't have to go. I crawled back into bed and slept for another hour and a half till it was close to 8pm.

I plan to go again today. In fact, mom's idea was that I RUN there (it's only a 3 minute drive. If you include the 5 minutes it takes to get the kids to pile up in the car and 1 to decide on a radio channel and 3 to reverse out of the driveway without running into the gate again and another 3 to get out on the main road without wrecking, yeah, it's faster running I think. Saves alot of money in the long run. No pun intended.) and then she can meet me and pick me up. Sounds like a good plan. But you know how much I just love to plan and just be satisfied with it. It's like reading recipe books and looking at all the stuff you could make and feel like you already know how and when you close the book, you just feel so good, you never ever make or cook anything from it. Oh. You don't do that? Uh... I do.

On the bright side, I've been really consistant about "working out". Hehe. Granted it's a lazy bum's work out routine. No sweat. Literally. That will have to change soon I suppose. If I plan to get anywhere. I use Su's 4kg pair of dumbells (only 2kg or 4.4 pounds each), use them in any way that I can think of. It really does build strength - I know because I now can handle more than 5 push ups at a time. And I'm not talking the easy girly ones. loL! Ok. So maybe 12 a day isn't much at all. But hey, I'm proud of these skinny arms! I also do a whole bunch of sit ups and stretch some. I know I could do alot more stretching, but I'm improving slowly. It hurts less to try to reach for my ankles now. loL! Yeah, it's that bad!

I just added a hula hoop to my little routine. That's fun to do while watching TV. Only I can't stay in my spot when I'm doing that. Hehe. Depending on which foot I put my weight on, I rotate in a different direction. I guess if I was smart, I 'd switch feet. But it's not really something I do consciously. I'm going to dig up all those exercise toys my dad's been collecting for the past 20 years and see what I can find. No one has ever used them. Yeah, we're pretty unhealthy city folk. But hey, being Asian, we get away with it!!! My brothers have gymnastics, so it's not all that bad. The only exercise I did was finger exercise on the piano. And even THAT's in past tense.

You know, this has been one uninteresting blog. lol. Serves me right for writing it in the morning when NOTHING has happened yet and I'm still half asleep. Ok, if I was REALLY half asleep, I'd be mumbling some pretty funny sounding random stuff. Hehe. Mark and I have both done that while on the phone. You know, when you're crossing over between here and dreamland. It's pretty embarassing. loL! *sigh* Good times.

To be honest, I really don't have much to say. I just am bored. I am tired and I will take a nap in a minute, but I usually spend my time here talking to someone - none of my friends are online, although Mark did stop by to say hi for a minute. That was very sweet of him. If not, I check and reply emails. Oh, guess what? No emails to reply to. So blog, my friend. It's just me and you without the dog named blue today.

I've tried to read some other random people's blogs. Besides Amy's I really have a hard time being interested. I guess this is what it's like for you. I guess unless someone is incredibly funny or has a great story to tell, you don't really care to know how a strangers day went. I even stumbled over a Singporean's blog the other day. So I guess I'm not the Asian who blogs. loL! Not that I didn't already know that. I could tell that he was either Singaporean or Malaysian from the way he wrote. Can you tell from reading my blogs? I hope not!!! I'm losing my American accent already (and yes you guys DO have an accent!) due to lack of practice and am starting to sound like the missionaries here (no, that's not good, they talk funny, even to us!) Get me out of here before I turn Asian...! Aaaaah!

Huh? What? You mean I AM Asian? Take that back, you big bloghead! Me, Asian? Hah. that'll be the day...
